He's been outstanding, spectacular and electric in both victories and defeats, but where does Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III rank among all of the league's current pivots?

Drafted second overall in the 2011 NFL Draft, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner has led the Redskins to a 3-4 record to start the season but has also become known for his highlight reel ability.

In his team's 38-26 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6, Griffin III broke out of the pocket and ran 76 yards for the touchdown that put the game out of reach in the Redskins favour.
In their Week 7 loss to the New York Giants, Griffin III put together a late drive in the fourth quarter that put his team in a position to win. First, he avoided both Osi Umenyiora and Jason Pierre-Paul on 4th–and-10 before hitting tight-end Logan Paulsen on a 19-yard pass play.  He then ran for 24-yards before finishing the series with a 30-yard strike to Santana Moss.

"That guy is flat-out unbelievable," said Umenyiora said to NFL.com after the Giants' win over the Redskins. "I'm not even going to lie. That's the best quarterback we've played this year."

His overall stats also place him among the best quarterbacks in the NFL, he is third in passer rating with 101.8, trailing only reigning league MVP Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers and Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos, who has captured the award a record four times.
While he is among the best QB's in the league throwing the ball, on the ground no one else is even close to the numbers he has put up so far this season.

His 468 yards on the ground are the most from the quarterback position, 195 yards ahead of Carolina Panthers' Cam Newton, who ranks second in the category. Griffin is 12th overall, ranked ahead of former rushing champion Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Griffin III is also second in the league with six rushing touchdowns, trailing only Arian Foster who leads the league with nine majors.

Though his status as a rookie makes the start that Griffin III has put together so far this season impressive, he isn't the only QB off to a great start.

Coming off his MVP season, Rodgers has picked up where he left off, opening the season with 19 touchdowns with only four interceptions.

In his first season with the Broncos, Manning has added to his already impressive career totals by throwing 14 touchdowns against four picks.

Leading the only undefeated team in the league, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has thrown 14 touchdowns and has a passer rating of 98.8, the fourth best mark in the NFL.

Seven weeks into his rookie season, Griffin III has put up impressive numbers but where does he rank among all of the league's current pivots?
