OSHAWA, Ont. -- Josh Sterk scored once and set up two more as the Oshawa Generals edged the visiting Belleville Bulls 3-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.
The three-point performance was the 18-year-old's fourth already this season and he leads the OHL in scoring with five goals and 14 points in six contests.
Cole Cassels had a goal and an assist for the Generals (4-2-0), who have won back-to-back games, while Hunter Smith scored once.
Luke Cairns and Scott Simmonds scored for the Bulls (1-3-2) and Brendan Gaunce assisted on both.
Ken Appleby only had to make 17 saves for the win as Charlie Graham turned aside 43-of-46 shots in defeat.
Oshawa went 2 for 4 on the power play while Belleville scored once on five chances with the man advantage.
Frontenacs 7 67's 4
KINGSTON, Ont., -- Sam Bennett had two goals and two assists and Henri Ikonen set up four goals as the Frontenacs downed Ottawa.
Lawson Crouse also scored twice for Kingston (5-0-1) while Roland McKeown, Sam Povorozniouk and Spencer Watson added the others.
Ryan Van Stralen led the 67's (2-4-0) with two goals and Dante Salituro and Brendan Bell each scored once.
Lucas Peressini made 26 saves for the win as Jacob Blair picked up the loss after allowing six goals on 20 shots. Philippe Trudeau replaced Blair in the second period and stopped 11-of-12 shots.
Spirit 5 Whalers 2
SAGINAW, Mich., -- The Spirit scored four unanswered goals in the third period to come from behind and defeat Plymouth.
Sean Callaghan, Nathan Glass, Terry Trafford and Justin Kea scored third-period goals for Saginaw (3-4-0), which trailed 2-1 after 40 minutes, while Jimmy Lodge scored the other in the first period.
Zach Lorentz and Ryan Hartman each had a goal and an assist for the Whalers (2-5-0).
Jake Paterson made 32 saves for the win as Alex Nedeljkovic turned away 32 shots in defeat.

GUELPH, Ont., -- Zack Mitchell and Brock McGinn each had a goal and two assists as the Storm crushed Owen Sound.
Zac Leslie, Robby Fabbri, Ryan Horvat, Scott Kosmachuk and Chadd Bauman also scored for Guelph (4-0-0).
Gemel Smith scored his league-leading 10th goal of the season for the Attack (2-3-1).
Justin Nichols made 37 saves for the win as Jack Flinn stopped 37-of-44 shots in defeat.
Rangers 4 Sting 1
KITCHENER, Ont., -- Justin Bailey scored twice as the Rangers defeated Sarnia.
Curtis Meighan and Radek Faksa also scored for Kitchener (3-1-0) while Max Iafrate chipped in with two assists.
Brett Hargrave scored the lone goal for the Sting (1-5-0).
Jack Moylan made 21 saves for the win. Taylor Dupuis stopped 36-of-40 shots before giving the net to Justin Fazio, who stopped all 11 shots he faced in the third period.
Knights 5 Spitfires 4
LONDON, Ont., -- Chris Tierney scored twice in the third period, including the winner, as the Knights edged Windsor.
Josh Anderson had a goal and an assist for London (4-1-0) while Christian Dvorak and Matt Rupert also scored for the Knights.
Ben Johnson, Josh Ho-Sang, Remy Giftopoulos and Brady Vail supplied the scoring for the Spitfires (2-3-0).
Anthony Stolarz made 29 saves for the win as Jordan DeKort stopped 32 shots in a losing cause.
Steelheads 3 Colts 2 (SO)
MISSISSAUGA, Ont., -- Jesse Barwell scored the winner as the Steelheads needed a shootout to defeat Barrie.
Trevor Carrick and Andrew Goldberg also scored for Mississauga (4-1-0), which has won three in a row.
Zach Hall and Andrew Mangiapane scored for the Colts (3-1-1).
Spencer Martin earned the victory by stopping 26 shots. Mackenzie Blackwood took the loss after allowing two goals on 28 shots.
Wolves 7 Petes 4
SUDBURY, Ont., -- Nicholas Baptiste led the Wolves with a hat trick as they knocked off Peterborough.
Dominik Kubalik scored twice for Sudbury (1-1-2) while Nathan Pancel and Conor Cummins had the others.
Stephen Nosad had two goals for the Petes (3-2-0) and Michael Clarke and Brandon Devlin each scored once.
Franky Palazzese made 35 saves for the win as Andrew D'Agostini gave up six goals on 26 shots in defeat.
