Philippe Maillet and Angelo Miceli each scored in the third period to lift the Victoriaville Tigres over the Saint John Sea Dogs 2-1 in Wednesday's Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Maillet had an assist on Miceli's goal and Brandon Whitney faced 23 shots for Victoriaville (20-21-8).
Stephen Anderson scored the lone goal for the Sea Dogs (19-29-0), while Sebastien Auger stopped 31 of 33.
Tied 1-1, Miceli scored the winner with his 22nd of the year at 16:50 of the third period while on the power play.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Val-d'Or 6, Blainville-Boisbriand 5 (SO); and Shawinigan 7 Rouyn-Noranda 3.
At Saint John, N.B, the Sea Dogs opened the scoring when Jakub Izacky fed Anderson in front to score at 16:20 of the middle period.
Maillet nabbed his 18th of the year to bring the Tigres even at 3:59 of the third period.
Sain John went 0-for-3 on the power play while the Tigres were 1-for-5.

At Blainville-Boisbriand, Que., Anthony Mantha scored twice in regulation and once in a shootout to lift Val-d'Or (26-20-3) over the Armada (28-14-6).

At Shawinigan, Que., Peter Sakaris had a goal and two assists as the Cataractes (11-32-5) handled Rouyn-Noranda (29-19-1).
