Michael St. Croix scored four times as the Edmonton Oil Kings downed the visiting Regina Pats 8-1 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action.
T.J. Foster had two goals and two assists for the Oil Kings (22-7-5), who extended their winning streak to four games, while Klarc Wilson had a goal and an assist.
Brandon Baddock added a single goal and Dylan Wruck had four assists to round out Edmonton's offence.
Stephen Hak had the lone goal for the Pats (12-20-4).
Laurent Brossoit stopped 20 shots for the win as Matt Hewitt turned aside 30-of-38 shots in defeat.
Edmonton was successful with its power play as it scored five times on seven opportunities while Regina failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
Elsewhere in the WHL, it was: Calgary 6, Kelowna 2; Prince George 2, Vancouver 1; Brandon 3, Prince Albert 0; Swift Current 4, Kootenay 0 and Portland 3, Everett 2.
At Edmonton, the Oil Kings' top-ranked power play opened up scoring at 7:20 of the second period when St. Croix finished off a two-on-one with a shot over the right pad of Hewitt.
Foster doubled Edmonton's lead moments later, finishing off a goal-mouth scramble with a centring feed by at 9:54 while on the power play.
St. Croix's second of the night, off a centring feed, put the Oil Kings up 3-0 just 45 seconds into the third period.
Regina got on the board moments later as Hak split the defence and buried his own rebound.
St. Croix's third goal put the Oil Kings up 4-1 at 7:35.
Wilson, St Croix, Baddock and Foster all scored within the final nine minutes.

At Calgary, Brooks Macek scored twice and added an assist while Brady Brassart and Cody Sylvester each had a goal and an assist as the Hitmen (23-7-4) ended Kelowna's (23-10-2) six-game winning streak.

At Prince George, B.C., Carson Bolduc scored in the third period as the Cougars (12-18-4) edged Vancouver (9-25-0).

At Prince Albert, Sask., Luke Siemens made 35 saves to earn the shutout as the Raiders (22-11-3) blanked Brandon (13-19-4).

At Swift Current, Sask., Adam Lowry scored a hat trick to reach a new career high in goals while leading the Broncos (15-17-5) to a victory over Kootenay (10-22-1) Lowry now has a team-high 21 goals after scoring at even strength and adding a pair of power-play goals.
Winterhawks 3 Silvertips 2
At Everett, Wash., Troy Rutkowski, Nicolas Petan and Keegan Iverson scored goals as Portland (28-5-1) won their fifth straight and 24th in their past 26 and defeated the Silvertips (13-22-2).
