The Calgary Stampeders are expected to add defensive tackle Kevin Huntley to their practice roster as soon as Tuesday.
Huntley, a four-year CFL veteran who helped the Toronto Argonauts capture the 100th Grey Cup last season, was released but the Boatmen over the weekend. In four seasons in the Double Blue, he's recorded 26 sacks.
The 31-year-old played college football for the Kansas State Wildcats before signing with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He was also a member of the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins and Pittsburgh Steelers.
