Toronto Argonauts running back Anthony Coombs will decide within the week whether to undergo surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
The 2014 first round pick wants a second and third opinion on the diganosis. The Argonauts support his decision either way and will not rush him back.
Coombs suffered the injury in a game against the Montreal Alouettes in Week 6 and was placed on the 6-game injured list on Monday.
He has 75 yards on eight carries and 214 yards on 22 receptions so far in his rookie season.
