The BC Lions have signed receiver Courtney Taylor to a contract extension.
Taylor originally signed with the Lions' practice roster in 2011. Last season, he spent the entire season on the club's roster and seeing his first regular season action against Calgary recording two receptions for 29 yards.
“Courtney has been both patient and positive over the past two years and we believe he's ready to make an impact as an everyday receiver for us,” said Lions VP of football operations and GM Wally Buono. “We'll look to Courtney for leadership and consistency and we're confident he'll excel in his role on offence.”
Taylor caught 16 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns last season.
