Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman is quickly assembling his staff for next season.

The Bears hired former Montreal Alouettes special teams coordinator/running backs coach, Andy Bischoff, and Saskatchewan Roughriders assistant head coach and defensive line coach, Mike Sinclair on Friday.

The Bears also hired Jacksonville Jaguars' Mel Tucker as their defensive co-ordinator, hired Matt Cavanaugh as their quarterbacks coach and Skip Peete as their running backs coach.

Bischoff will be the Bears' tight ends coach while Sinclair has been named the team's assistant defensive line coach.

The move comes just over a month after Sinclair joined the Riders as the assistant head coach and defensive line coach. Prior to joining the Riders, Sinclair spent five seasons as the defensive line coach with the Alouettes.

Bischoff spent the past five seasons under Trestman's wing in Montreal, working as the running backs coach and special teams coordinator.

On Wednesday, the Bears hired New Orleans Saints line coach Aaron Kromer as its line coach and offensive co-ordinator and the Cowboys' Joe DeCamillis as its assistant head coach and special teams co-ordinator.

Trestman was named the Bears' head coach on Wednesday, replacing the fired Lovie Smith.
