A line featuring tackles Marc Dile and Joel Figueroa, centre Mike Filer and guards Pete Dyakowski and Greg Wojt would likely be a pretty good one. Unfortunately, every single one of them are sidelined by injury.

The Ticats are currently employing three Americans by using Brian Simmons - a starting tackle much of the last three seasons - at guard. Simmons will get his second start at guard this week against Calgary along with fellow guard Landon Rice and veteran centre Tim O'Neill. But the team will start a new tackle for the third straight week, most likely Jeremy Lewis who was signed on Sunday.

Receiver Greg Ellingson and defensive tackle Bryan Hall - both of whom missed the game against Edmonton on July 5 - practised Monday, as did halfback Brandon Stewart, who sat out much of Sunday's session.
