Canada, Sweden play for first place in Group B on TSN

Canada and Sweden will meet on Tuesday morning with first place on the line in Group B at the World Under-18 Championship.

You can see all the action from Sochi, Russia on TSN and TSN Mobile TV beginning at 7am et/4am pt.

Both countries sport 3-0 records and aim to capture the group on the final day of round-robin play. The first-place finisher will draw the fourth-place country from Group A in the quarter-finals, while the team that finishes second faces the third-place country.

Canada earned a 10-1 win over Switzerland on Monday after receiving goals from eight different skaters. Josh Morrissey and Laurent Dauphin each had a pair for the Canadians and Spencer Martin made 20 saves in the win.

Canada opened the tournament with a 4-1 win over Slovakia and a 3-1 victory over Germany.

Sweden has cruised through its games as well, beating Germany 9-1, Switzerland 6-0, and adding a 5-2 decision over Slovakia.

Connor McDavid of the Erie Otters leads Canada in scoring and is second overall at the tournament with two goals and five assists through three games.
