Broncos pulling away from the pack in NFL Power Rankings

The Denver Broncos remain in a class of their own at the top of the TSN.ca NFL Power Rankings, ahead of the Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots.

After destroying Philadelphia, to the tune of 52-20, the Broncos have won by an average of 22.0 points per game through the first four games of the season.

Moving up this week, the Indianapolis Colts ran roughshod over the hapless Jacksonville Jaguars, good enough to climb from 14 to eight, while the San Francisco 49ers did a similar job on the St. Louis Rams and moved from 15 to nine.

San Diego, with an impressive rally against Dallas, moved from 24 to 20 despite a growing list of walking wounded. Washington also climbed, from 31 to 26, with their first win of the season at Oakland.

Shredded by the Detroit Lions, the Chicago Bears fell from the ranks of the unbeaten and dropped from five to 10, while Joe Flacco's five interceptions at Buffalo knocked the Ravens down from eight to 14.

Atlanta was game in the Sunday nighter against New England, but injuries are hampering the Falcons too, so they fall from 11 to 15, and the woeful Tampa Bay Buccaneers sink to 31 from 25 after collapsing late against Arizona.
