The Miami Heat have finally overtaken the Oklahoma City Thunder for top spot in the TSN.ca NBA Power Rankings.

Miami hasn't lost in 11 (though needed OT against Sacramento Tuesday to keep it going) and LeBron James is playing at a higher level than even he has achieved in his brilliant career.

As Oklahoma City falls to second spot, the Indiana Pacers, who haven't suffered a regulation loss in the last 12 games, and got Danny Granger back in the rotation, climb to a season-high third spot in the rankings.

Holding power forward Josh Smith past the trade deadline, the Atlanta Hawks have also won five of six and move up from 12 to nine.

Heading the other way, Golden State drops from eight to 11 with centre Andrew Bogut hurting again. The Hornets, sans Anthony Davis, and the Orlando Magic (2-17 in their last 19 and missing Jameer Nelson) are other teams falling this week.

The Toronto Raptors are at 19, the second straight week they've been in the Top 20 after spending much of the season in the lower third.
