What a trip!

Dan "Slippery" O'Toole and I finished the last show on the Kraft Celebration Tour in the biggest town we've been at yet: New Westminster, B.C. Other than a nasty case of turf burn that I got after letting two New West High School football players drag me 60 yards across their field, I think everyone came away pretty much unscathed.

Our show in New West was in Tipperary Park right next to City Hall and we had a great turnout. Kraft donated $25,000 to the New Westminster Youth Centre. A very special thanks to our MC and TSN West Coast Bureau Chief Farhan Lalji who not only did a great job getting the crowd fired up, he also had us over for a fantastic barbeque the night before at his palatial estate in New West. His wife Mary and son Lucas couldn't have been more welcoming.

I just wanted to say a special thanks to our crew on this trip, aka: "The West Crew". There is a friendly competition between both crews but the truth is BOTH crews are equally outstanding and deserve heaps of praise for the hard work they do setting up, getting ready, tearing down and then travelling many miles to do it all over again. Truly an amazing group of people put together by Nicole Anderson, our Production Manager. Special thanks to TSN Senior Communications Manager Chobi Liang and TSN Marketing Guru Tiffany De Groote for making sure we were where we needed to be at all times and for also identifying very early that I should never be the one to carry the keys. Also special thanks to Senior Story Editor Dan Salem as well as Producer Tim for making sure we were ready to do the actual shows, not just the singing and dancing we love to do before the show.

Can't wait to do it all again next year!
