We've arrived in Port Dover, Ontario for the 2nd Annual Kraft Celebration Tour. This year Dan, myself and by popular demand Producer Tim (TM) will be heading West. We couldn't be more delighted as Dan spent the early part of his career working out west and I grew up in Alberta. As for Producer Tim, he's never been out west, so we're planning on introducing him to the joys of Pilsner beer when we make our third stop of the tour in Outlook, SK.

Port Dover is a summertime town so it's appropriate we arrived Friday afternoon and were able to spend time at the beach! It was absolutely packed and the town is still buzzing from the Bike Rally that took place last Friday the 13th (a rally takes place in Port Dover every Friday the 13th, even if it falls in November). 175,000 people jammed the streets of this town on the shores of Lake Erie last weekend and we're hoping for an equal or better turnout for our first live SportsCentre show on Saturday night at 6pm et/3pm pt. What's that? 175,000 is unrealistic? We're dreaming big baby! YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN!

Speaking of bikers, O'Toole and I were also taken on a ride through town Friday afternoon thanks to a couple of Peter Fonda clones. My bike belonged to an Aussie ex-pat musician named Stu who wondered "How I got a job like this?" (Sportscasting) "Do you have to go to school and all that? I could use some more technical expertise". I didn't have the heart to tell him that I have no technical expertise and thankfully we made it through town and to our destination without any injuries.

We also spent time with some of the hard-working men and women at the Lakeshore Fish Factory. I won't spoil the surprise because we got some quality footage and we want to save it for the live show on Saturday evening. All I can say is that the guys who throw those giant whole fish at Pike Place Market in Seattle have nothing on me and O'Toole. If things don't work out in the television business for me (always a possibility), I am moving straight down to Port Dover and cleaning fish guts for a living.

We're off to Erie Beach House to enjoy a little local perch with tomorrow's MC Rick Wamsley! Hopefully Stu will be there to drive us all home on his Harley at the end of the night.
