Pinty's 250 pushed back with championship on the line

FRASERVILLE, Ont. - The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 championship will have to wait another day as the 2013 season finale scheduled for Saturday at Kawartha Speedway was postponed due to inclement weather.
The Pinty's 250 has been rescheduled to Sunday, with the green flag scheduled for 3:15pm et. Practice is slated for 10am et and qualifying for the 26-car field is set for 1pm et.
D.J. Kennington carries a five-point advantage over Scott Steckly into the race as the pair of two-time champions look to become the series' first three-time titlist. The defending champion Kennington also is trying to become the first driver to claim back-to-back crowns. Jason Hathaway at 22 points behind Kennington is mathematically alive for the championship, as well.
