Carl Edwards scrolled across a stage at Joe Gibbs Racing and jokingly yelled, 'Surprise!' There was no surprise whatsoever about his formal introduction Tuesday as a fourth driver in the JGR Sprint Cup lineup. The move had been expected since at least May and intensified last month when Roush Fenway Racing said Edwards was not returning in 2015. Full Story.
Crossing the Line
Chris Buescher took the lead on the 68th of 90 laps and held off Regan Smith and Brian Scott to win the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday. The victory in the Nationwide Children's Hospital 200 made the 21-year-old Buescher the third rookie to win in the series this year. Full Story.
