Logano wins at New Hampshire to advance to next round of Chase

Joey Logano pulled away on the restart to win a green-white-checkered finish Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and advance to the second round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship. Reasons to Celebrate

JR Fitzpatrick did everything he could. LP Dumoulin did what he needed. The result was Dumoulin was crowned the champion of the 2014 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 Saturday, while Fitzpatrick walked away with the winner's trophy for the Pinty's 250 at Kawartha Speedway. Track Tragedy

Sprint car driver Scott Semmelmann was killed in a wreck during practice for a race Saturday night at Beaver Dam Raceway. Beaver Dam Raceway general manager Carolyn Mueller and Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Car Series President Steve Sinclair confirmed the death. Full Story.
