A Formula One race planned for next year in New Jersey with the New York City skyline as a backdrop has been postponed. Race promoter Leo Hindery Jr. said Wednesday it's been a challenge arranging the event's "financial structure," but he hopes the Grand Prix of America in New Jersey can debut in 2015. Full Story.

Lotus has hired Pastor Maldonado to replace Kimi Raikkonen at the Formula One team for the 2014 championship. The Venezuelan driver leaves Williams after three years and will partner Romain Grosjean, who stays on at the English-based team for a third season. Full Story.
